Two Tribes Teases A New And Apparently Highly Addictive Swapping Game For iPhone

August 6, 2010

The team at Two Tribes, best known in the iDevice world for their adorable puzzle game, Toki Tori, is having a bit of a problem staying on task.  You see, after witnessing the game in action, Two Tribes employees are now swapping anything and everything within reach.   They just can't stop.  This, as you would imagine, has turned out to be a bit of a problem.  But don't just take our word for it, take a gander at the teaser video below along with the accompanying text to see just how strong the addiction is.
During development of a brand new, yet unannounced game, employees at Two Tribes have started to exhibit symptoms of what appears to be a new type of addiction. Designers, programmers, game testers and even producers have been caught frantically switching items around. Office supplies, i-devices and even Toki Tori's eggs have been lost and subsequently found at the most unusual places. At the time of writing it is unknown what the long term effects of this addiction are. Apart from having office redecorating effects and being highly time consuming, the addiction does not seem to have any damaging side effects. All subjects seem to derive a healthy dose of pleasure from this 'compulsive swapping disorder' resulting in the addiction spreading at a fast pace! Although not having been academically tested, a causal link between the new game in development and the symptoms of addiction seems logical. Assuming productivity returning to its usual state, the new game is scheduled for a September release. You have been warned...

Whatever it is, it looks like it will also make your eyes completely bug out.

We will definitely be keeping a close eye on this one.  The marketing campaign already has us hooked.
