Group Email is a convenient app for mass emailing. Create a list, use an Address Book group, or just quickly choose a group of individual contacts. For common tasks, suggestions, reminders, or whatever else, you can create templates.

Creating a new message to send to a group is easy. Launch the app, tap to select recipients, pick a template or leave it as “Don’t use a template,” choose any attachments, and finally tap Create Message. Group Email will automatically enter the recipients and message, if you chose a template, into the Mail app. From there, you can edit or add to your message, then tap Send. When picking recipients, you can choose To, Cc, or Bcc for each, as necessary.

Some of our important messages and reminders don’t just involve the regular, old-fashioned document. Amongst the choices of choosing a document, photo, or video, you can send along a contact’s information using the common vCard file-type, record an audio clip, take a snapshot, or include your current location with address and Google Maps link. Just like any other emailing app, you can include a number of attachments to send to your large group of recipients.

A note for attachments. The number and size of attachments the app can handle depends on your device and free memory. Obviously, newer devices will handle more and bigger attachments than older devices.
