Cobra Mobile has finally decided to do away with the hovercrafts and give gamers some wheels to coast around tracks on in their newly released top-down racer, Danger Derby.
Danger Derby is a graphically-rich top-down arcade racer designed exclusively for the iPad. The game features classic top-down racing action with on-screen controls, while adding to the fun by throwing all kinds of obstacles and boosts on the track as you progress. Hence the name, Danger Derby.
Danger Derby includes eight detailed and interactive tracks and four modes of play, including a mirror mode, which basically doubles the track count. The other three modes — arcade, challenge and freeplay — offer different ways to experience the fun, and at any time a second player can jump in and play on the same device by simply tapping the other side of the screen.
The game also includes full stat tracking across all modes, and a total of six cars to choose from. As you progress through the game, you will be able to upgrade your cars’ abilities and add to your trophy room.
This has to be one of, if not the most entertaining game Cobra Mobile has released to date. It’s polished to a shine, and the ability to have a friend jump in on a game at any time in any mode is just icing on the cake.
