Real Racing To Gain Four-Player Online Multiplayer Through Game Center

October 1, 2010
A day after dropping Real Racing to its lowest price ever, Firemint is looking to sweeten the deal even more by bringing four-player online multiplayer to its hit racing title in the near future. As of this moment, Real Racing addicts are only able to play against friends locally or asynchronously against random online opponents, but soon they will be able to take on up to three other opponents in all-out racing action online. Apple's Game Center has helped breath new life into some of the App Store's best games, which is not only thanks to its leaderboards and achievements, but also its simple implementation of synchronous online multiplayer. Firemint is also offering its most die-hard fans a chance to get in on the action before everyone else.  The developer has just kicked off its Real Racing beta program, which asks those who get accepted to test out the new feature, and discuss problems and their ideas with others in a private forum.  If you are up to the challenge, check out Firemint's sign-up page.
