British Man Delivers His Baby At Home, With A Little Help From His iPhone

December 26, 2010
A British man recently delivered his own baby at home, after he and his family became snowed in over the Christmas period. Fortunately, the Apple fan (Chris Corfield) had his trusty iPhone with him, which he used to search the Internet for advice and instructions while he helped his wife give birth. As the Daily Express reports, Chris noted: "I was looking outside at the snow coming down [before the birth] and I was just thinking 'Please don't let the baby come tonight.' We went to bed and at about 1AM I was woken up by an elbow in my back and Jenni saying 'It's coming, it's coming'." However, because of the terrible weather conditions which are currently affecting several parts of the UK, an ambulance was not able to reach the couple. Instead, Chris delivered his second-born child himself, using his iPhone to check the Internet for advice throughout. The couple's daughter, Frieja, was born without complications. Congratulations to the happy family!
