The Incident Is Hilariously Reenacted

January 24, 2011
Some folks must really like their iPhone/iPod touch games. What else explains the concept of “sweding?” In the case of iOS games, this is when a game is reenacted as if it were real life. The practice started with the movie Be Kind Rewind, but has since gone viral. Typically movies are the basis of sweding, but it can really be applied to anything, even video games. Following the hilarious Fruit Ninja spoof, Greg Borenstein, Mike "Frank" Cohen, Spike McCue, David Phillips, and Liza Singer have sweded The Incident, and recorded it for the world to see. Created by Big Bucket Software, the game is about overcoming obstacles, which fall from the sky. The result is pretty funny. Take a look:

For more information on "sweding," I would suggest visiting swededmovies.org/. The Incident is available in the App Store for $1.99.
