A "Lite" Weather App Is Updated
Developers often reward users with “lite” versions of popular apps. These are great for the user and developer alike. Users get to tryout an app without actually buying it, while its creators can introduce their products to those that might not purchase it otherwise. Too often, these “lite” versions are nothing more than a demo version of the real deal. However, the Lifelike Alarm Clock and Weather HD Lite app isn’t a demo. It is a fully functional app, which is even better now thanks to a new update. Created by Lifelike Apps, the app is easy to use and works great on a nightstand or desk. Unlike the full version, it includes only one clock style and limited weather functionality. Plus, it is supported by ads. Even with these limitations, the app is great and might be just enough for many. Version 1.1 includes multitasking support, alarm delete functionality, and a low battery notification for when you are trying to enable an alarm and your battery level is below 20 percent. It also includes some bug fixes. Lifelike Alarm Clock and Weather HD Lite is available in the App Store.
