Apple Cofounder Steve Wozniak Confirms White iPhone Camera Issues

January 31, 2011
Interviewed last night on the Engadget Show, Steve Wozniak, Apple's cofounder, went on record telling us more about what he thinks is happening with the white iPhone. Unfortunately, it seems even the Woz doesn't really know much more than we do. The tech veteran admitted to having purchased (online) what are believed to be official parts for the white iPhone. After Wozniak installed the parts on his handset, he was able to confirm something we had heard many times before; the white case ruins the camera's image quality. This is reportedly due to the fact that these parts leak light, something we heard about as early as July of last year. The Woz believes that Apple has now been able to fix the issue, and will be releasing the device to the public soon. Yet, we don't know if he has any insider information on the matter. The Engadget Show, recorded yesterday, will go online later tonight. Make sure to check it out.
