Today, the Verizon iPhone goes on sale to the general public. If you're planning on grabbing a CDMA iPhone handset, we'd like to remind you about two important Verizon apps you should definitely download, once you've bought a Verizon iPhone.
First up, there's My Verizon Mobile. This free application allows Verizon iPhone owners to access their account, on the go. Users of the app can pay bills, and check their usage, all from within the application. Here's a full list of the app's features:

Furthermore, it's an incredibly convenient way to check up on your minute, text, and data usage, and to ensure you don't go over your allowance (which can be costly). The second Verizon iPhone app you should definitely download, is VZ Transfer. This application, which is also free, allows Verizon Backup Assistant users to restore contacts from their old handset to their Verizon iPhone "within minutes."
