Draw It Easy is very simple to use. First, pick out one of 36 different objects to draw. The page will turn and you will be on your way following step-by-step instructions. There are no written instructions, only visual. Follow along on each step by duplicating the drawing in the lesson. There are different pencils, pens and brushes to choose from. The app will automatically select the one needed for the current step, but it is easy to change this by using the artist toolbar at the top. There is a handy little feature that allows you to “undo” the last line you drew, which I found myself using often. After a few steps, you will be on your way to finishing it off with different colors of paint. Once your drawing has come to life, you can share it via email or store it in your iPad photo app. You are not only limited to the drawing in the lesson on your page, so you can personalize your final masterpiece.

This is a wonderful little app, with very attractive graphics. I was surprised on how easy it was to draw. When I first began, I was worried how the picture was going to look. I was trying so hard to draw the lines and shapes precisely the way the lesson was showing me. After starting over a couple times and excessively using the “undo” button, I decided to just keep going. My creations did not look exactly like the lesson, but I was impressed how they actually looked similar. After my first drawing, I couldn’t wait to start another. In addition to the wonderful drawing lessons, Draw It Easy is a great app to create a greeting card for someone special, or to wish Mom a Happy Mother’s Day!
