If any of you grew up in the 90s, you may remember when Sega was a big name among video game fans everywhere. One of their titles from the Genesis generation was Streets of Rage 3. It was a side-scrolling beat-em-up fighting game where you battle various hoodlums on the mean streets of an urban setting.

Good news, Sega has decided to port it to iOS and Streets of Rage 3 should be hitting your local App Store any minute now. The game belongs to the beat-em-up genre with games like Final Fight or Double Dragon.

The gist of the game is that you have to pick a character out of the four available. With your chosen character, you will have to face many enemies, including bosses, while utilizing your legs and fists to take them down. You also have various special moves at your disposal to unleash against your enemies not to mention the various weapons available to grab. Here is more info from the app description:
