Bank Of America Updated: Enhanced Interface, Improved Performance, Retina Optimization & SafePass Security

Bank of America's iPhone and iPod touch app, Bank of America - Mobile Banking, has recently been updated. Now, users of the application can enjoy a variety of new features, including an enhanced interface, improved performance and support for the Retina display.
As outlined in the app's release notes, changes made in the latest version (3.0.227) include:
The update to Bank of America - Mobile Banking comes following the company's release of a native iPad application, earlier this week. Now, iPhone and iPod touch users can enjoy an app that is better than ever, while iPad owners can take advantage of Bank of America for iPad, which is designed specifically for Apple's 9.7 inch device. Both versions of the app (iPhone and iPod touch, and iPad) are free, and offer the same features. Included in these are a "calendar display" for electronic bills and payments, which allows users to stay on top of their finances, and even schedule future payments by simply tapping a date. Support for the Retina display (iPhone 4 and fourth generation iPod touch) is undoubtedly a much needed addition to the application; most iOS apps I use have already received this all important feature, and it's great to see Bank of America's iOS app become "Retina optimized," too. As mentioned, Bank of America - Mobile Banking is currently available to download in the App Store for free.
