The popular barcode-scanning app, RedLaser (free), has recently been updated. Now, users of the application can take advantage of improved scanning capabilities, which make the application quicker and more useable than ever before.
As outlined in the app’s release notes, changes made in the latest version (2.9.5) include:
- Faster scanning
- Scan from difficult angles
- Scan at greater distances
- Bug fixes
Besides bug fixes, the developer has really concentrated on improving the app’s scanning capabilities, which is great. (After all, RedLaser is a barcode-scanning app.) This update follows a string of previous updates which hit the App Store in recent months, and have expanded the application’s functionality. Less than a month ago, RedLaser received an update that added support for QR code creation and multitasking.
Currently, RedLaser is available to download for the iPhone, iPad 2 and iPod touch for free. Check out the latest version of the app, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
