Apple Warns Customers Of "Unsecured Calls" In iOS 5

Another feature Apple has added in iOS is a warning notification for when users engage in "unsecured calls." As you can see in the above screenshot, the notification reads:
Unsecured Call The cellular network you are using is not encrypted. This call can be intercepted by unauthorized listeners.
It's very possible Apple incorporated this feature into the iOS due to the growing interest in IMSI-catchers (at least, that's what @MuscleNerd speculates). It's good to know the iOS will soon be able to alert users of this threat. [via @MuscleNerd]
