Bamboo Paper: Who Said The iPad Isn't Stylus-Friendly?

Bamboo Paper: Who Said The iPad Isn't Stylus-Friendly?

June 19, 2011
Wacom has recently launched its stylus-centeric iPad app, Bamboo Paper, which Apple fans can download for free until the end of this month. Furthermore, the company is releasing an accompanying accessory - Bamboo Stylus - in the near future. As you can see in the above screenshot, the stylus itself looks very much like a pen: Unlike the Cosmonaut, this stylus is supposed to look and feel just like your favorite ballpoint. And while Bamboo Paper probably isn't the very best note-taking application available for the iPad, it does pack some good features - and it's currently available for free, too. Features of Bamboo Paper include changeable brush thickness and color, different paper designs, the ability to bookmark pages and screen mirroring. While the stylus isn't yet available, it is "coming soon." Though as of this moment, we're not sure how much it'll retail for. As for the app, you can download it now - and be sure to grab it quick, because by the end of June it'll be stuck with a $1.99 price-tag. For more information on Bamboo Stylus, head over to Wacom's website.
