Twitter iOS 5 Integration Is Not Just About Photos

Twitter iOS 5 Integration Is Not Just About Photos

June 3, 2011
Just days after word leaked Twitter photo sharing was coming to iOS 5, we’ve heard more about the integration. The Apple/Twitter iOS 5 alliance isn’t exclusive to photos, according to blogger Robert Scoble in news first reported by 9 to 5 Mac. Scoble, who currently works for Rackspace, states via his Twitter feed Apple is “building Twitter in deeply into iOS5.” As such he states we aren’t going to see something simple like “just lame “send to Twitter buttons.”” Possible features include a “Twitter widget, Twitter notifications, and Twitter photo and video sharing,” says 9 To 5 Mac. Hopefully, we hear more about this as early as Monday. That is the day Steve Jobs will give the highly anticipated keynote at this year’s WWDC in San Francisco, California. What do you want to see out of a Apple/Twitter alliance? Let us know by using the comments below. Note: Scoble was recently a video blogger for Fast Company. He is also the co-author of Naked Conversations: How Blogs are Changing the Way Businesses Talk with Customers with Shel Israel.
