Twitter Timeline On iOS 5's Notification Center Already Here Via Jailbreak

Users could soon view their Twitter timeline from iOS 5’s new Notification Center. However, this can already be done using a jailbreak via iOS 5 beta. Surprisingly, a U.S.-based teenager created it, according to Redmond Pie. The Notification Center, which arrives this fall on iOS 5, is primarily used for system alerts. However, rumors are abuzz Apple will also allow third-party developers to use some of its real estate for widgets as well. One such widget, WeeTwitter, was created by Tyler Flowers and is already available as a jailbreak courtesy Cydia. The widget displays your newest tweets, @-replies, private messages and saved searches. For those who are interested, Redmond Pie has included directions for installing WeeTwitter on its website. Keep in mind, your iPhone must have iOS 5 beta already installed in order to use the widget. Take a look:
