Sticker Factory ($0.99) by Worry Free Labs is an adorable new app for the iPad. The bright colors, fun graphics, and bouncy music draw you in. The gameplay concept is very simple; even a young child will catch on immediately.

The idea is part sticker book, part “Where’s Waldo”, and part “I Love Lucy”. If you ever saw that classic episode of “I Love Lucy” where Lucy and Ethel were wrapping candy in a candy factory and the conveyor belt kept getting faster and faster until they hilariously couldn’t keep up, you’ll know what I mean. If not, well, it’s worth googling. Anyway, back to Sticker Factory. Like I said, it’s a very simple game. A series of themed shapes will scroll by; each level brings a new theme. You’ll see robots, summer fun, animals, space, and more.

So, on the left will be a blank shape. Your job is simply to grab the sticker that fits from the “conveyor belt” and place it into the blank. That’s all there is to it! Of course, many of the shapes will be similar, so you’ll have to look carefully to make sure you place the correct sticker into the spot. If you try to place the wrong sticker in, it won’t let you, but there is no penalty. Move quickly, because once that blank scrolls by, it’s gone, and you can no longer fill it.

Each level does get faster as you go along. There are also more stickers to contend with. If you complete the round without missing any stickers, you get three stars. Miss one sticker, and you’ll get two stars. You can always replay any round if you want to try to maintain a three-star record. Sticker Factory has Game Center integration so you can compete with players around the world.

This is definitely a game that young children can play. It is even a bit educational, teaching focus and matching. In my opinion, it’s probably more engaging for little ones than for adults, but that could just be because I’m not all that into gaming myself. Still, if it sounds like your cup of tea, this well-designed, attractive game will definitely be worth your dollar. You can watch the developer’s video below to see the game in action.

And, three lucky winners will get a copy for free! Please note, this is an iPad-only game. So, iPad owners, for your chance to win, simply retweet this article or comment below. Contest ends July 8 at 8:00 a.m. EDT. Good luck!
