Shorts Or Not is simple enough. You open it up, and it tells you if it’s good weather for shorts or not. You can even get a forecast for the day. Surprisingly, it’s been more accurate than my other weather app. There’s a part of me that feels a little sad about that. However, I’m easily excitable enough that it makes me happy to hear the pseudo crowd cheer when they report that the weather is, in fact, shorts appropriate. When the weather is sub-par, there is no cheering. Only sadness.
There is also the option to set the temperature for what you consider to be shorts weather. I’m a 73 degrees sort of gal. Those who are a part of the Celsius measurement need not worry. This app covers you too. You can also publish your local results to Facebook or Twitter. At that point, it seems more like rubbing it in someone’s face that you have awesome weather and they are rolling around in drizzly, humid and muggy weather. Those who choose the path of boasting over any and all aspects of their life over social networks will find great fulfillment in this feature.
