Crime City Heading To iPhone

August 10, 2011
According to Pocket Gamer, a popular Facebook game, with organized crime elements, is being ported to the iPhone. The game is called Crime City and should be arriving on the App Store sometime this month. Crime City appears to share elements with the Grand Theft Auto series of games from Rockstar, along with Zynga's Mafia Wars. The visuals are simplified and bear similarities to titles like Game Dev Story. Crime City is played from a birds-eye view, top-down perspective with players looking down at the city from afar. The title will feature a strong story mode with many missions along with an even stronger multiplayer component. The story mode contains over 200 separate missions and objectives to complete, and multiplayer allows players to form street crews or gangs online. "The strongest pull of Crime City, however, is liable to be found in the multiplayer. With the ability to both team up with, and steal everything from, friends in the game, there is a possibility for huge guilds, syndicates, and groups to form," Pocket Gamer reports. Look for the game to hit the App Store soon.
