iCloud Expected To Be Available For Snow Leopard Users Very Soon

A new software update will soon be released for Snow Leopard users that will provide iCloud service support. Version 10.6.9 is expected to become available very soon, according to news first reported by MacRumors. According to a notice appearing in one developer’s .Mac preference pane in Tiger after he updated his MobileMe account to iCloud:
You will no longer be able to sync with this machine because you've upgraded to iCloud. 

iCloud requires a computer running Mac OS X Snow Leopard v10.6.9 or later for Contacts, Calendars, and Bookmarks.
Until now, iCloud has only been available for developer testing for OS X Lion, However, based on this message, it is clear that testing will soon extend to OS X Snow Leopard users as well. We’ll keep you updated on this and let you know when 10.6.9 is released.
