The Undead Are Taking A Stand For Their Rights In Zombies In Flight Plus Win A Copy!

Zombies in Flight ($0.99) by Kadamedia is a different take on Angry Birds gameplay. It takes us to a time when zombies were angry. A time when zombies fought back against the out-of-line villagers who tried to decapitate and otherwise hunt them down. How dare these people give the zombies a hard time. It's not their fault; they're just being zombies. It's their job to eat our brains. They can't help themselves.

So, finally, the zombies have had enough! They've teamed up with each other and will fight back! They will fling themselves at villagers and their homes.

Just tap on a zombie to load them into the catapult. They literally lie there awkwardly until they are flung forward, like rag dolls, into the air in hopes that they will destroy the villagers.

To launch these undead bodies, just slide your finger along the catapult and adjust both the force of impact and the angle.

If you manage to destroy all of the villagers, you move on to the next level. However, the challenge is to try to collect the bonus stars in the levels as well, which will boost your score significantly.

Unfortunately, you can't swipe over to look at where you're aiming once you load a zombie onto the catapult. I find this irritating. So, make sure you know where to aim before preparing the "zombiepult."

There are five different types of zombies to unlock along the way — each having their own unique abilities — as well as three different missions to complete. Once you get over 700,000 points, you can unlock the level editor feature. This is pretty awesome as you can get creative and make you own levels.

The background graphics are pretty nice, but the character and other graphics are pretty terrible. I love the zombie theme and level creation, but was not overly impressed with gameplay. Angry Birds did this already, and I think we can all agree, they did it quite well.
