Faqden Labs has recently updated one of their premier educational iPhone apps to version 1.2. This app is none other than IntelliVocab for SAT Deluxe Edition.

The app was created with the aim of helping students pass SAT exams with the benefit of MIT-tested learning methods.

The latest update adds social network integration and some bug fixes. Here is what the app description states regarding new additions in the 1.2 update:

What’s new:

  1. Share IntelliVocab with Friends via Facebook/Twitter/Email/SMS
  2. Bug fixed to avoid auto-on for local notifications

To create this app the MIT students used the latest research related to artificial intelligence, machine learning and Web semantics. The app is designed to allow students to have their own personal profile and personalize their learning experience. This is done using a variety of methods, like learning algorithms and Web semantics to create an intelligent system that recognizes the strengths and weaknesses of a particular student in regard to the testing.

Other features that the app includes are: over 480 words to study, various practice sessions, two parameters to profile users, and a visual representation of a progress report. IntelliVocab for SAT Deluxe Edition has a lot to offer anyone who wants to study for an SAT exam and get a great score.
