Apple might have only launched iCloud earlier today, but already iCloud compatible Mac applications are appearing in the Mac App Store.

One such application is “SingleText,” an app that allows users to quickly write notes on their Mac and save them to iCloud. It’s also possible to access saved notes from an iOS device, using SingleText’s iOS app.

As outlined in the app’s release notes:

SingleText works with iCloud. Just sign in to your iCloud account when you set up your Mac, iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. And that’s it. No other settings to configure, in fact, SingleText doesn’t have settings.

Incredible right?¬†Obviously, there are more iCloud compatible apps to come (this is only the beginning!), and we’ll be sure to keep you posted.¬†Without a doubt though, this is the future folks. Soon, all of your apps will be iCloud-enabled, and you’ll be able to access their data on any device seamlessly.

In the meantime, if you spot any interesting iCloud compatible iOS or Mac apps, feel free to share them with us in the comments.

You can download the SingleText Mac app in the Mac App Store for $0.99, and here on the iOS App Store for $.99 as well.
