Belkin's iPhone Camera Remote Set To Arrive

November 8, 2011
Belkin, the accessory maker, is set to release a remote shutter release device for the iPhone, according to Engadget. Although the LiveAction remote currently has no release date, the required app is already available in the App Store. And yesterday, the FCC gave final approval for the device to be sold in the U.S. According to the report:
“The controller triggers still or video recording via Bluetooth and the accompanying LiveAction app, and it also houses a detachable stand for propping your phone up on a "variety of surfaces." Stop-motion shenanigans spring to mind, but the more obvious use is for group photos -- and you might consider pairing it with one of these to avoid cropping heads.”
We’ll keep you updated. In the meantime, be sure to check out the free Belkin LiveAction app.
