C Spire Launching iPhone 4S On November 11 - Offering Unlimited Non-Streaming Data For Just $50 Per Month

November 1, 2011
C Spire, the Ridgeland, Mississippi-based mobile carrier, today announced it will begin selling the iPhone 4S on Friday, November 11. When it does, C Spire will offer service plans that include unlimited data. It was only last month it was announced that C Spire would join AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint as an official U.S. iPhone carrier. While C Spire is offering the iPhone 4/4S at competitive prices, its service plans are different. C Spire is offering four different plans to select from, beginning with a $50 per month plan which includes 500 minutes, unlimited SMS, and “unlimited” data. However, this plan (along with the one for $70/month) does not allow customers to “stream” data.  For that, you’ll need to purchase a $90 or $100 plan. Take a look at each plan: C Spire will join Sprint as the only U.S. carriers to offer unlimited iPhone data plans. AT&T and Verizon no longer offer these type of plans to new customers. According to Hu Meena, president and chief executive officer for C Spire.
“As a carrier dedicated to delivering the best personalized wireless experience, we’re proud to offer the amazing new iPhone 4S to our customers. iPhone 4S offers an abundance of new features, and with our Choice Infinite data plans customers can enjoy all of them on our network without having to think about their next bill.”
C Spire is currently offering pre-orders for the iPhone 4/4S. The service is available in Mississippi, as well as parts of Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.
