iOS Apps Gone Free: Physics 21 HD, Capture, ID Photo, And More

Launch cards into three different buckets to create perfect blackjack hands in Batuhan Akalin's unique card game, Physics 21 HD. We also have a video recording app that will help ensure you'll never miss another memorable moment again, and an easy to use photography app that allows you to create picture identification.

iPhone:

Capture — The Quick Video Camera ($0.99 -> Free, 141.2 KB): You'll never miss the chance to record another special moment again with this photography app. The moment you launch the app it will begin to record video. When you're finished recording, just hit the home button on your iDevice to save the video to your Camera Roll. It includes a variety of features like grid lines, the ability to lock the camera's orientation, and iTunes File Sharing support, all of which are accessible via the Settings app.

Capture — The Quick Video Camera is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 98 ratings.

Apache Overkill ($0.99 -> Free, 11.2 MB): Pilot an apache helicopter through 99 levels of non-stop explosive action in this side-scrolling shoot 'em up game. You're able to control your helicopter's movements by dragging your finger around the screen. Drop bombs, launch missiles, activate nukes, and fire lasers with on-screen controls to wipe out your enemy. The game includes a variety of air and ground enemies, upgrades, and Game Center integration.

Apache Overkill is available for free today only (11/20). It has a 4-star rating with a total of 864 ratings.

The final escape ($0.99 -> Free, 123.2 MB): Play as Daniel, a young solider who finds himself in the middle of a zombie outbreak, and try to escape from each scenario by driving around accomplishing specific tasks. Tap and hold on the right side of the screen to drive forward, tap and hold on the left to reverse, and tilt to steer. The game includes five chapters with multiple levels in each, and different vehicles to drive over zombies with.

ID Photo ($1.99 -> Free, 3.6 MB): Create various official sizes of photos for passports, driver's licenses, and other forms of identification. You'll first be asked to choose from one of the 10 different photo sizes, then just use the grid to snap a photo of yourself. You can edit the photo in a variety of ways using multitouch controls, and then share it via email or print it off right at home thanks to AirPrint support.

ID Photo is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 10 ratings.

aTimeLogger ($3.99 -> Free, 6.0 MB): Track any or all of your daily activities with this time logging app. It includes quick access to your most common daily activities on the main launch screen. It also includes the ability to add comments to activities, history, reports, filtering, backup and restore, charts and graphs, and six different themes to choose from.

aTimeLogger is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 222 ratings.

Time Geeks: Cloneggs ($0.99 -> Free, 19.0 MB): This frantic matching game requires you to crack open eggs and match characters by dragging your finger from one to the other. It includes over 200 levels, three modes, the ability to scan cards using your iDevice’s camera to add characters to your library, and Game Center integration.

Time Geeks: Cloneggs is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 31 ratings.

Mini Wars ($1.99 -> Free, 12.4 MB): Go head-to-head against computer controlled teams and battle to the death in this side-scrolling war game. Before each match begins you're able to equip your soldier with different unlockable weapons to better suit your playing style. Characters are controlled via two on-screen joysticks. The game includes three maps, three modes, 11 weapons, up to four teams and eight soldiers per match, and Game Center integration.

Mini Wars is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 26 ratings.

Physics 21 HD ($0.99 -> Free, 11.8 MB): Physics 21 HD combines blackjack and physics-based gameplay, hence the name. Just launch cards from the top of the screen into the three buckets at the bottom by tapping where you want them to go to create hands of 21. You can launch your cards at coins to earn bonus points. The game includes two modes, a tutorial with a breakdown of how much each combination is worth, and Game Center integration.

Physics 21 HD is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 8 ratings.

Universal:

Time Warp Alarm Clock ($0.99 -> Free, 16.0 MB): A fully interactive clock app for your iPhone and iPad. The clock can be made up of five different particles, and you can choose from five interactive touch effects. The app also includes 10 color combinations, digital and analog modes, a 24-hour mode, and customizable alarms with nine different sounds.

Time Warp Alarm Clock is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 2 ratings.

Arthur Christmas: Elf Run Premium ($0.99 -> Free, 35.9 MB): Help Santa deliver the billions of presents on his list by jumping, diving, and crawling through homes as quickly and quietly as possible in this side-scroller. Crashing into objects and forgetting to feed the pets will cause you to lose precious time and possibly wake the residents, so be nimble but quick! The game includes seven elves to unlock, 30 missions, and Game Center integration.

Arthur Christmas: Elf Run Premium is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 5 ratings.

iPad:

Into the Snow: A Stella and Sam Adventure ($2.99 -> Free, 62.8 MB): Your child can play alongside Stella, Sam, and their dog Fred as they go outside into the snow to look for their toboggan. The app includes three mini-games, which allow your child to draw in the snow, decorate a snowman, and discover what's hidden under the snow.

Into the Snow: A Stella and Sam Adventure is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 9 ratings.
