Aren’t there some creatures that are so cute that you just have to smash them? No. No, there aren’t. That’s the first sign of a sociopathic serial killer. So, the fact that I like tapping on sweet little birdies so that they fall out of the sky should mean something, but I’m too afraid to explore the ramifications of those feelings. As far as iBird Smash is concerned, the pleasant background and cutie-pie birdies make it almost forgettable that they’re falling to their sweet little deaths. It’s just pixels, so have fun with it.
The entire point of the game is to tap on the little birds before they can fly away. The app starts out with three lives, but after each level, you get an additional life. Once you hit about level 20, it isn’t easy to keep up anymore. So, those extra lives come in handy. The game keeps track of your high score. You know, because you’ll want to remember how many lives you ended in one tapping spree. I kid. I loved this game.
