Google+ for iPhone today received a modest update. The social networking service app now includes search and full resolution photo uploads, among other enhancements.

First launched for iOS in July, the Google+ app is an extension of the social networking site, which went live in June.

Among its features, the app includes:

  • Circles let you share the right things with just the right people.
  • Visit the stream to get updates from your circles or see what people are saying about things nearby.
  • Messenger is super-fast group messaging for everyone in your circles.
  • Mobile Hangouts allows you to video chat with up to 9 friends while you’re on the go.

The Version 1.0.7.2940 update also includes Photo +1 capabilities, as well as bug fixes and performance improvements.

The free Google+ app is available now in the App Store.
