The popular universal app AroundMe (free) has recently received an update. Now, the application supports a number of navigation services, including TomTom, Navigon and MotionX Drive. Furthermore, a variety of minor bug fixes have been made to the app.

As outlined in the app’s release notes, changes made in the latest version (5.1.1) of the application include:

  • Now support Navigon, TomTom, Motion X Drive and Waze navigation software
  • Minor bug fixing

AroundMe, as its name suggests, allows Apple fans to utilize the application’s mapping and augmented reality technology to find places of interest near their location. If you’re in a new, unfamiliar town, it’s definitely an application we would recommend you download.
