A while back, we reviewed the app, Repeat Timer Pro, which is an excellent timer. It has a beautiful, elegant, and simple interface that removes the hassle of creating new timers. Repeat Timer Pro also features several extremely useful features that aren’t found in the stock timer, such as intervals and repeating timers, and it includes tasteful sound effects and animations.

The app has recently been updated to version 1.1, and with this update are some big changes. In previous versions, you could only set one timer at a time. Now, in 1.1, you are able to set up to three independent timers, each with their own label to differentiate. These timers can be run simultaneously for multiple tasks, or even used as presets. The notifications that the app delivers will also show the customized label of the timer, so that it is always known which timer has gone off.

This update has increased the use of Repeat Timer Pro significantly, even though it was a great and beautiful app already (and with plenty of awesome sounds for alerts).

If you have not yet picked up a copy of Repeat Timer Pro, then now is the time to do so. It’s the timer app that Apple should have made, but didn’t, and it’s avaiable for $1.99 in the App Store.
