Macworld 2012: iLID MK-1 Is The "World's Thinnest" iPhone Wallet

January 28, 2012
Ready for another iPhone case? Instead of helping you crack open a cold one, this one might actually help you pay for it. The polycarbonate iLID MK-1 is touted as the "world's thinnest iPhone wallet," and it lets you store your various IDs, credit cards, cash, and keys behind its full-sized, backside compartment. Everything is held sturdily in place with a robust, flush hinge, and the door doubles as a landscape stand when opened. For a better idea of how the case functions, check out its original demo:

If you like traveling light, the iLID MK-1 might be right for you. It's available in black and white colorways (pink coming soon), and the makers hope to have it shipping within a month. I think I still prefer the DiffCase, but the iLID MK-1 is certainly worthy of a second look.
