Macworld 2012: OmniGroup Announces OmniPlan For iPad

January 27, 2012

OmniGroup, the popular developer behind OmniFocus for iPad, OmniGraffle, and OmniOutliner, has just announced that the popular OmniPlan 2 will be coming to iPad.

For those who aren’t familiar with OmniPlan, it’s a Mac app that allows users to visualize, maintain, and simplify projects. With just a glance, you are able to break down tasks, optimize required resources, control costs, monitor your entire plan, and much more. OmniPlan is available for $199.99 in the Mac App Store or from the website.

The iPad version of OmniPlan is still currently in development, but OmniGroup plans to have it ready in Q2 this year.

If you are a current OmniPlan user, then great news! The iPad version is expected to have all of the major features found in the Mac version, and it will also sync.

There is currently no word on pricing, though we would expect OmniPlan for iPad to be around $40, judging from the prices of their other iPad apps. These are premium productivity apps, after all.
