Macworld 2012: The iWow Audio Enhancement Adapter Goes Universal

January 28, 2012
SRS Labs made an appearance at this year’s Macworld event. The company’s iWow 3D line was on display and they are having a huge sale to celebrate this weekend’s convention.  Watch the full video below for the discount code. The iWow 3D is an audio enhancement adapter for the iPhone, iPod and iPad that creates a fuller, more natural sound. It dynamically locates and restores audio details to deliver deep, rich bass, turning an iDevice into a mobile stereo system in your head. The deluxe package comes with custom-made detachable ear buds and additional color faceplates so users can customize their iWow to fit their mood or their outfit. For added control over the sound quality, there is a free app that lets users adjust the audio settings and select which type of external audio system the device will be plugged into; headphones, car or external speakers. SRS Labs was also at Macworld to announce the upcoming launch of iWow Universal, or iWow U, which is a universal version of the iWow 3D. It works with any device that has a three-quarter inch jack, including Android-based devices and laptops. The iWow 3D Deluxe costs $79.99, while the unit alone is $59.99. They are available now from the company’s website. The iWoW U will be available at the end of March. There is no information as to its cost, but presumably it will be comparable to the 3D model. Check out the video below to find out how to get the iWoW 3D for half price. http://youtu.be/ichw78PVm54
