Flipboard Launches Additional Content Guides: International Users Get Location-Based Recommendations

February 1, 2012
Flipboard (free) has recently launched new Content Guides for users in Australia, Canada, the UK and Ireland. The availability of these new guides means users in the aforementioned countries will now be able to view recommendations within the application, which are displayed according to their location. For example, UK users are recommended BBC News, the Guardian and The Telegraph - three UK-based news sources - as you can see in the above image. Already, Content Guides are available in France, Taiwan and Hong Kong; there's a dedicated Flipboard app for Chinese users, too. The new Content Guides should appear automatically (no update is required). Currently, Flipboard is available in the App Store for free. If you're living in Australia, Canada, the UK or Ireland, check out the new Content Guides now, and be sure to post your thoughts in the comments below. [via The Next Web]
