AT&T Offers Least Expensive 4G LTE Plan For New iPad

March 7, 2012
One question not immediately answered during today’s event was the data plan pricing for the iPad’s 4G LTE service on Verizon and AT&T. But we have the answers. Thankfully, just like the 3G connectivity on the iPad 2, plans from both Verizon and AT&T will be no-contract and month-to-month. The least expensive option is 250MB per month on AT&T for $14.99. AT&T’s other plans include 2GB per month for $30 and 5GB for $50. Verizon’s lowest cost option is $30 for 2GB. Also offered is the same 5GB for $50. For big spenders, you can grab a max of 10GB per month for $80. In the screenshot, grabbed by MacRumors, there is no mention of overage charges. Hopefully, those charges will be announced soon to help consumers decide which iPad to purchase.
