Apple Prepping New Online Store

Apple Prepping New Online Store

April 5, 2012
Get ready, Apple fans. Apple is signaling that a relaunch of the company’s online store is coming. According to a message left on Apple’s education site, a change to the site is coming that will “dramatically (simplify) the user interface,” according to AppleInsider. According to Apple's banner alert, education customers will hear more about "the store's features, benefits and launch date" in the coming weeks. Even though this announcement is only showing up on Apple’s online store geared for kindergarten through 12th grade institutions, it could mean a complete revamp is coming in the near future. The message concludes with:
"Your current Apple ID and password will continue to work. In the coming weeks, you will receive more information about the store's features, benefits, and launch date."
Apple often makes changes to its online store. However, these are typically incremental. Perhaps sometime this year, the entire site will get a fresh coat of paint. What changes would like to see on Apple’s online store?
