What’s a bunch of hairy and dimwitted guys to do when the place they call home is suddenly oozing with evil? Seek your help, of course, which is exactly what they intend to do in the upcoming strategy game by Arges Systems, Hairy Tales.
The Hairys live in a world now plagued with corruption. In hopes of ridding their home of the evil that is hell-bent on consuming it, they must now rely on your wits, since they have practically none of their own. Your mission is to guide them across the hexagonal tiles that make up their world as they try to reach their goal in each tile-based puzzle level. You do not simply make them walk to their goal, though, as their paths are paved with various obstacles and enemies to avoid. Watch the trailer for the game below.

Hairy Tales is oozing with challenge spread across over 70 levels. The game promises simplicity in its early stages, something the Hairys are no doubt appreciative of, and complexity in the succeeding ones, something that is par for the course given the game’s mixing of puzzle and strategy mechanics. A high replay factor is also to be expected, since each level is said to have more than one solution.
Featuring slightly hair-raising visuals and sounds, Hairy Tales is set to be launched in the App Store sometime in May.
