Jailbreak Only: Swipebright - Swipe The Status Bar To Adjust Brightness

April 25, 2012
A new jailbreak tweak promises to make adjusting the brightness on an iPhone handset much easier. Once downloaded and installed, users of the $0.99 Swipebright can swipe at their status bar to adjust the brightness of their smart phone. It's a simple, effective tweak - swiping left decreases the brightness level, while swiping right increases it. But there's more. The tweak adds a new pane in the Settings app, and here Swipebright can be configured. You can enable/disable the tweak, and choose whether you want it to be enabled/disabled at the Lock screen. In addition, it's also possible to adjust the sensitivity of the swipe mechanism, and Activator actions for Swipebright can also be configured. Below, we've included a video walkthrough of Swipebright courtesy of iDownloadBlog. Check out the tweak now, as mentioned it's available in the Cydia Store for just $0.99.
