PicPlayPost 2.0 Lets You Pick, Play And Post Up To Four Videos

PicPlayPost has been featured here in AppAdvice twice, pre- and post-release. Today, nearly two months after its launch, PicPlayPost is once again being highlighted. This time, the photo and video app developed by Flambe Studios is featured on account of its recent major update, which bumps the app to version 2.0.
Upon first learning about PicPlayPost, I was quick to dismiss it as another late entry to a field of apps that has long been home to the likes of PicFrame and Diptic. But I found out soon enough that PicPlayPost has a significant advantage over the two aforementioned picture framing and collage making apps. In addition to manipulating photos, PicPlayPost is also able to manipulate videos — hence the "play" in its name. And now the update has improved the app's processing power such that it is now able to work with up to four videos in one frame.
The videos included in a PicPlayPost frame can be configured to play simultaneously or play in accordance with your specified sequence. You can watch an example of a PicPlayPost output that takes advantage of the app's multi-video setup, as well as its filter features, in the video below.

Also introduced by the update, video and image filters are at your disposal so long as your iPhone or iPad is running on iOS 5.0 or later. PicPlayPost offers six filter effects for photos (grayscale, sepia, vintage, vivid, contrast, custom) and five for videos (grayscale, vintage, western, dark, vivid).
