Tim Cook Announced As Opening Night Speaker At D10 Conference

April 10, 2012
All Things Digital today announced that Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, will be the opening night speaker at the tenth annual D: All Things Digital conference. This will be Cook’s first appearance at the popular event and first time he will appear at an event not run by Apple or for investors since he became Apple’s chief in August. Since its debut in 2003, The Wall Street Journal’s D: All Things Digital conference has been breaking news, highlighting innovation, and bringing you straight-up, unvarnished conversations with the most influential figures in media and technology. D:10, which is completely sold out, runs from May 29-31, 2012 from the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. In addition to Cook, other confirmed speakers this year include Larry Ellison, Founder and CEO, Oracle; Daniel Ek, Co-Founder and CEO, Spotify; and entrepreneur Sean Parker of Facebook and Napster fame, among others. This year's hosts are All Thing Digital's Walter Mossberg and Kara Swisher. The late Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs, made numerous D: All Things Digital appearances, the last being at D8 in 2010.
