Blockolicious HD ($0.99 → Free, 44.9 MB): A bright, colorful, and juicy matching game. Tap on groups of three or more blocks of the same color to create juicy blocks, which can be popped to not only score points but also fill up your power-ups. Keep matching and popping as quickly and efficiently as possible to move up the weekly Facebook leaderboards. The game includes two modes, all kinds of unlockable goodies, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

VFX Studio ($3.99 → Free, 35.2 MB): Add all kinds of awesome visual effects to your photos with this powerful photography app. Each of the over 200 visual effects can be moved, resized, and rotated using multitouch controls. Effects can be customized by adjusting their opacity, hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, gamma, and RGB balance. The app also includes layer support, and 14 effects categories including smoke, bullet impacts, cracks, weather, and explosions.

Britannica Kids: Rainforests ($4.99 → Free, 191.4 MB): This educational app from Encylopaedia Britannica allows your child to learn all about rain forests through puzzles, quizzes, pictures, and videos. The app also includes seven articles that discuss everything you need to know about rain forests, descriptions and photos for 21 animals, and a map that points out the location of the world's rain forests. *This deal appears to only be available in the U.S.

Britannica Kids: Rainforests is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 39 ratings.

Parkbud ($1.99 → Free, 14.4 MB): Never again forget to add money to your parking meter with this handy utility app. Just set the timer and then choose when you want to be notified that your parking meter is about to expire. When it's time to fill your meter, the app's main screen will display all of the necessary information in an easy to read format. It also allows you to make payments via phone or SMS, get directions back to your car, take a photo of your location, and add notes.

Ready Steady Bang ($0.99 → Free, 13.3 MB): Find out if you have the fastest draw in the West with this surprisingly humorous reaction-based game. Face off with computer-controlled opponents or your own friends and be the first to pull the trigger by tapping on the screen. But you don't want to pull the trigger too early, otherwise you'll be a sitting duck. The game includes 31 goofy death animations to unlock, a kill gallery, 10 opponents, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Schedule Planner Pro ($0.99 → Free, 8.7 MB): This productivity app allows you to plan out your daily activities by category and priority. Tasks can be grouped, color-coded, and arranged in a variety of ways. You can also receive push notifications for the most important of your tasks and add notes if necessary. The app includes the ability to integrate in-app schedules by importing events from your Google calendar or iOS calendar as well.

Save the Cubes ($0.99 → Free, 17.2 MB): Save the Cubes by exterminating the infected in this puzzle game. Drag and drop healthy cubes into place in order to lure the infected to their death with the scent of brains. Lines emanate from each side of your healthy cube, indicating how far the scent has traveled. The game includes four zones, 48 mind-bending levels, and leaderboards via Game Center.
