Didn’t get your seat to this year’s WWDC? Well, you’re out of luck as the $1,599 tickets sold-out in just under two hours. Unfortunately, many might have missed out even though they thought they were covered. After all, a site created in January, WWDC Alerts, was supposed to tell customers when Apple made tickets available to this year’s event. Yet, it didn’t work out that way.
2012 tickets have been announced and sold out. If you signed up with us before your number has been deleted from our database and backups. We hope you managed to grab a ticket in time. There were some delays with some of the SMS (sic) being sent out. We’ll be writing a postmortem piece on this soon so hopefully we can share what we’ve learned.
Meanwhile, Herron went on Twitter to apologize:
@drance sorry about the delay, a lot learned today, we’ll blog a postmortem so hopefully others can glean something.
