Apple Leaks And Then Removes New iCloud Features

May 11, 2012
Visiting beta.icloud.com earlier today gave visitors a sneak peek at what Apple might be planning for their iCloud.com website. Included here for the first time were links to two iOS-centric apps, according to news first reported by 9to5Mac. As you can see in the screenshots, the beta page for iCloud.com, which Apple quickly took down, included links to Reminders and Notes. Both apps are available on the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad and are coming on the next version of OS X, Mountain Lion. No doubt, Apple is likely readying these applications for use on the Web too. Reminders and Notes offer iOS users two simple solutions to track things to remember and take notes. Each app is synced using iCloud with updates available across iDevices. These applications could arrive for OS X as early as next month when Apple will probably release OS X Mountain Lion at the Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. Do you hope Apple brings Reminders and Notes to the iCloud website?
