Another popular Adobe Flash-based game, Expand It exhibits a lot of similarities to Cover Orange, a family friendly physics puzzler and the company’s previously top rated title, but certainly contains its own unique gameplay elements.
A long, long time ago, there were Rainbow Dinos. They were brightly colored creatures shaped like squares, circles, and triangles that became obsessed with touching rainbows that streamed across the sky. Using their unique expansion ability, the Dinos stack atop each other, catapult one another, and work together in other ways to reach their goal.
Faced with various environments and obstacles, tap on the Dinos to make them expand to cause at least one Rainbow Dino to touch the rainbow in the sky. For examples, expanding certain Dinos would raise a platform, create a bridge, or provide a means of traction.
Along with Retina graphics, the game will feature several stages and numerous levels per area, however, the exact number of each has not yet been revealed.
Expand It will be designed for iPhone and iPod touch, and available in the App Store towards the end of May for $0.99. Expand It HD will be compatible with iPad, and available in the App Store towards the end of May for $1.99. Until then, enjoy the preview screenshots and debut gameplay trailer embedded below.
