Clear Channel Airports and SapientNitro today announced the launch of FlySmart: Be an Airport Insider, a new mobile travel app that provides air travelers with all the information they need right on their iPhone/iPod touch.
FlySmart brings together SapientNitro’s mobile, marketing, and technology expertise and Clear Channel Airport’s knowledge of airports, air travel, and airport technology to deliver a unique service to travelers, airports, and advertisers. In addition, FlySmart includes new features for travelers such as flight push notifications and Bing Maps capabilities that enable travelers to manage their time more efficiently.
The FlySmart app, which is actually an enhanced version of SapientNitro’s goHow airport app, includes customized content from partner airports. This offers travelers a localized experience with all the latest information they need. When fully implemented, the FlySmart service will be available in 96 U.S. and international airports including the official partner airports in Boston, Denver, and Minneapolis.
