It turns out that Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is not the only high-quality racing game for iOS that recently received a significant revving up. Mini Motor Racing, The Binary Mill’s top-notch top-down arcade racer, did as well.
Version 1.5 of Mini Motor Racing is said to be the biggest update yet to the game, and it’s easy to see why. You can literally see it in the game’s HD version, which now sports “sweetened visuals” for the new iPad’s Retina display. But that’s not all.
The update also delivers full online multiplayer support. In addition to local multiplayer via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, Mini Motor Racing now lets up to four Game Center friends or random players race against one another. Try this new setup in the game’s new bonus championship episode, which includes our new tracks with varying attributes. Plenty of other new stuff can be found among the unlockable cars and remastered tracks. Also worth mentioning are the new ability to play songs from the Music library while racing and the addition of a “shake to nitro” feature.
