Schedule-managing app Easy Calendar has received a slate of new features and a refreshed UI look with a recent update.

Version 2.0 of the app, designed for the iPhone and iPod touch, is anchored by a new, refreshed design that really looks great.

One of the unique features of the new version is a landscape view of the next three weeks of calendar events with a continuous-scrolling effect. There is also a half-year calendar view to plan longer range events like holidays.

Replacing the previous jump to month feature, Easy Calendar users can now jump to a desired week instead. Adding to its quick design, users can also quickly change the calendar of an event without the need to access a menu.

Users of iOS 5 or higher can also create and edit their own calendars, which definitely would come in handy.

Along with all the new features, Easy Calendar is a quick and faster alternative to the native iOS calendar. Here’s a quick rundown of how easy it is to add an event in the app compared with the built-in version. Click here if you can’t see the video.
