CineXPlayer Features Surround Sound Support For Your Latest Videos

June 26, 2012
If you don’t want to spend a lot of time converting your movies into an iOS device friendly format, CineXPlayer for both the iPhone and iPad looks like a great choice. Sporting compatibility with a number of file formats - including AVI, XVID, H.264, and more -  the app is the only movie player in the App Store that integrates Dolby Digital Plus sound with 5.1 channel support so viewers can experience surround sound while wearing headphones. Featuring HD playback with 720p, movies can be transferred into the app via iTunes. You can also stream movies from your local network with NAS support. Along with strong iOS device support, the app also features AirPlay out so you can watch your media using an Apple TV. With a recent update to version 2.8, iPad users now have the ability to automatically download DVD covers and take advantage of an IMDb button on the player screen to find out more information about a movie. Also, with the iPad version’s Screenager mode, you can rotate to portrait mode to watch a video and surf the Web at the same time. Unfortunately, there are separate apps for both the iPhone and iPad. The iPad version is $3.99 while the iPhone version will set you back $1.99. You can unlock the ability to convert and play all of your 2-D movies in 3-D for a $0.99 in-app purchase in both apps.
