A neat approach to the line puzzle game, Drag the Rope and Drag the Rope HD have been doing fairly well during their first couple months of existence in the App Store. Even so, Tiangua recently released v1.1.1, an update that provides online multiplayer, multiple local gameplay modes, and increases the total number of puzzles to more than 350 for all current and new players.
The three local gameplay modes include Classic, Random, and Race. Classic is the original gameplay mode of completing puzzles in order while earning gold stars and points. Random mode eliminates the star system and dispenses levels in random order. Race mode is similar to Random mode, however, the primary goal is to complete 10 puzzles as quickly as possible. You are penalized 60 seconds for skipping puzzles.
Utilizing Game Center, the Multiplayer mode is Race mode against human opponents. Matches consist of two to four players, one to three opponents, and can be any combination of invited friends or randomly chosen equal skilled players using the automatic matchmaking feature.
Wrapping things up, Tiangua mentions the following corrections and further additions for Drag the Rope HD:
- Optimizing the coins falling way
- New guide content
- New language support: Japanese,Korean,Russian,Traditional Chinese
- Fix bugs and make client smaller
